A new report by MFY Legal Services, Legal Services NYC, and JASA/Legal Services for the Elderly in Queens documents how banks harm homeowners by routinely failing to appear at settlement conferences prepared to negotiate a settlement and calls on courts to rigorously enforce the settlement conference law.
