MFY’s work to save the homes of hundreds of low-income homeowners in Queens and Staten Island, along with similar work by advocates across the state, is threatened by Governor Cuomo’s failure to include funding for foreclosure prevention and defense in the coming year’s state budget. The Statewide Campaign to Save the Foreclosure Prevention Services Program has issued a statement and asks New Yorkers to immediately contact their state representatives to demand that funding be restored.
